'Nip/Tuck' Series Finale: Looking Back at Infamous Moments

Tell us what you don't like about yourself?

Well, we sometimes felt guilty about enjoying 'Nip/Tuck' so much. All the gratuitous sex, hot bodies and unbounded narcissism could be a bit of an indulgence. But while 'Nip/Tuck,' on the surface, was a flashy treat of soft-core porn, operatic slasher movies and trashy soap operas, it did speak to our society's fixation with appearance.

'Nip/Tuck' ends its run on FX with a perfect, in symmetrical terms, 100th episode March 3 at 10PM ET. The series, created by Ryan Murphy ('Glee'), debuted in 2003 and racked up its share of Emmys and Golden Globes by following the travails of plastic surgeons Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) and Christian Troy (Julian McMahon). We present here some of the series' most infamously vulgar and misogynistic moments -- and a few that showed its smarts.

Viewer discretion is definitely advised.

'Flashing Lights' promo
'Nip/Tuck' often made the music its star and this promo is a wonderful example of that. Kanye West's 'Flashing Lights' is given a Busby Berkeley treatment here.

Hot tub bowel movement
Don't watch this Season 5 clip if you're squeamish. Or if you just ate.

Perfect 10
Dr. Troy dresses down Kimber (Kelly Carlson) in the pilot episode. "You're also 26, you should have worn sunscreen." Ouch!

Breast self-mutilation scene
Most of the violence happens on the operating table in 'Nip/Tuck.' This infamous scene happened in the waiting room of McNamara/Troy in Season 7. Again, not for the squeamish.

The world according to Dr. Troy
Great writing in this scene in which Dr. Troy tries to explain his boorish ways in Season 1.

Bag sex
Dr. Troy makes a patient place a bag over her head before they have sex in Season 3. The most unbelievable thing about this scene is why she didn't tell him to get lost.
