Julie Benz has been cast in the ABC drama 'No Ordinary Family,' starring Emmy winner Michael Chiklis ('The Shield'). Benz will play Chiklis' wife in the drama, described as a "gifted scientist" who has a thing for "superspeed." Benz currently recurrs on the hit ABC dramedy 'Desperate Housewives.' It looks like the lights are still shining bright for Adrianne Palicki. According to reports, the 'Friday Night Lights' star has joined the Fox drama 'Midland,' starring Jimmy Wolk as a Texas con artist who leads a double life. TV veteran Peggy Lipton ('Mod-Squad') will co-star ABC's 'Cutthroat.' Lipton will play mother to Roselyn Sanchez's Nina Cabrera in the series, about a soccer mom who leads an international drug cartel. [Hollywood Reporter]
Actress Jaime King will co-star in ABC's 'Generation Y,' which follows the lives of former high school classmates in the first 10 years after they graduated.
