A whopping 27 million votes decided the fate of the four unlucky contestants who got kicked off 'American Idol' tonight

Watch the video after the jump. A whopping 27 million votes decided the fate of the four unlucky contestants who got kicked off 'American Idol' tonight. John Park, Jermaine Sellers, Michelle Delamor and Haeley Vaughn got the boot.

Park said the highlight of the 'American Idol' experience was meeting his own idol, Shania Twain, as well as the other contestants, the band and the crew. Sellers left saying, "In God, there's no failure, so I leave here happy. I appreciate y'all to the fullest. Most of all, everybody needs to go out and get a onesie."

While clearly teary about her exit, Delamor said she knows that she's "made to do this" and plans to keep moving forward with her singing. And Vaughn, who sang Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb,' departed on a high note saying, "I could definitely use more experience. I'll do my best from here on out."
