The pairing of Daniels and Bloom was arranged by their agent at William Morris Endeavor, a move which Daniels thinks was inspired. As he told Variety, "I realized that she had the same sort of mind that I had. Her writing is very similar to my sensibility. She has created a world that is layered with complexities."

There's been no comment from HBO as to when the project will move beyond the initial stages of development.

The 82nd Academy Awards air Sunday at 8PM on ABC.
