TV Casting: Tom Bergeron to Guest on 'Castle'

Tom BergeronTom Bergeron will guest on an upcoming episode of 'Castle' that will spoof NBC's recent late-night drama. According to an exclusive report from EW.com, Bergeron will play the host of a late-night talk show who gets booted by his rival (Bill Bellamy). No word yet on whether Conan O'Brien will tune in, but we hope he tweets about it, anyway. [EW.com]

Jeri RyanJeri Ryan has joined the cast of ABC's 'Body of Evidence.' The 'Star Trek' alum will play the chief medical examiner on the series, about a neurosurgeon-turned-medical examiner. Adam ScottAdam Scott is reportedly leaving the Starz comedy 'Party Down' to play Lesley Knope's (Amy Poehler) new love interest on 'Parks and Recreation.' As part of the deal, Scott will still appear in up to three episodes of 'Party's' third season, assuming it gets renewed. No word yet on when Scott will make his official 'Parks' debut. [Variety]

Neil Patrick HarrisNew details have emerged regarding Neil Patrick Harris' highly anticipated guest spot on 'Glee.' According to the Ausiello Files, Harris will play a former glee club rival of Will's (Matthew Morrison) who unexpectedly reappears on the William McKinley school board. Joss Whedon of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' fame will direct the episode. [Ausiello Files]

Sherri ShepherdKathy Ireland, Sherri Shepherd and Jess Cagle (Entertainment Weekly) have been named the hosts of 'ABC's Oscars Red Carpet.' The show will kick off at 8PM ET and run for 30 minutes before launching directly into the telecast. [EW.com]
