Matt Damon Confirms Role as Robert F. Kennedy (VIDEO)

Matt Damon said on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC) that he will likely play Robert F. Kennedy in a biopic by 'Seabiscuit' director Gary Ross. Damon expressed some uncertainty at portraying such a larger-than-life figure, but said he feels confident in his abilities nonetheless.When asked by Matt Lauer how he could play such a monumental figure, Damon replied, 'Well, I don't know that I can. That's part of the challenge, but I'm pretty confident that I could do it. It would be a lot of research and a lot of time put in. And, look, where I come from he's a pretty important person and it's a lot of responsibility." Damon added that a script is currently in the works.
