Cuthbert joined 'The Forgotten' only last month, in a recurring role alongside Christian Slater. Last week, ABC abruptly ended its first season, putting the future of the crime procedural into question.

In the meantime, 'Endings' should be a nice change of pace for the actress, who is best known for playing Keifer Sutherland's cougar-fleeing daughter on '24.' The former child star has also starred on the big screen, with roles in 'The Girl Next Door,' 'House of Wax' and 'Captivity,' which unfortunately earned her a 2008 Razzie nomination for Worst Actress.

No word yet on when the show will officially begin airing on ABC.
