This is Spoilers Anonymous, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air. We'll never put spoilers up here on the main page in order to help the reformed stay unspoiled. If you have anything to add to the group, feel free to step up and let yourself be heard, either with our tips form or by emailing us at tvsquad at gmail dot com, or call and leave a message at (775) 640-8479. This week we have spoilers for: 'Castle,' 'Dexter,' 'Gossip Girl,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Lost,' 'NCIS,' 'Smallville' and 'Ugly Betty.'

  • The show is planning an episode that is inspired by NBC's recent late-night war. The episode, titled 'The Late Shaft' and set to air on April 12, will start 'Dancing with the Stars'' Tom Bergeron as Bobby Mann, a late-night talk show host who gets permanently shut up (aka killed). The prime suspect, to be played by Bill Bellamy, is his would-be successor, a rival chatterbox who's long coveted the victim's timeslot. Fred Willard will play Bobby Mann's sidekick, French Steward will be a Pellicano-esque investigator, Kelly Carlson will play a love interest for Castle and Dan Cortese as the network president tasked with managing the scandal. Carlson's role is that of actress Ellie Rose and her character will meet Castle on the set of the late-night talk show hosted by Bobby Mann. The two will hit it off, prompting a jealous Beckett to suspect that the starlet is only interested in Castle because she covets a role in the forthcoming movie version of his book, Heat Wave. • Navi Rawat will play Rachel Walters, a mummification expert who crosses paths with Beckett and Castle when the Natural History Museum's assistant curator is found murdered. Rachel informs the team that the assistant curator, Will Medina, might have been cursed because he disturbed ancient Mayan tombs to create the museum's newest exhibit. Rachel also catches Castle nosing through some coffins in the museum, prompting Becket to tease Castle about the curse. Castle refuses to believe her until he suffers his own near-death experience. The episode, titled 'Wrapped Up in Death,' will air on April 5. [Source: TV Guide Online]

Dexter will have to come to terms with what Rita's death means for both his stepchildren, Cody and Astor, and their infant son, Harrison. Newlyweds Batista and Laguerta are not already done. Dexter won't automatically be cleared of all wrongdoing in Rita's death. The focus of next season will be turned back on to Dexter and his internal struggle with everything going on. Any series which kills off Tom Bergeron has my vote, when will this smug, unfunny, pretentious ass just go back to Haverhill Ma., where he belongs.

I wish these people would read their stories and not just use a spelling checker.

I'm reading a fascinating book, "Heat Wave", which is written as if it is actually by Richard Castle. It's a very good mystery and the little blurb about the author says "Castle currently lives in Manhattan with his daughter and mother, both of whom infuse his life with humor and inspiration." His heroine in the book is Nikki Heat, obviously based on Beckett, which is the reason for Castle's working with the police on this terrific ABC show. What a neat idea for a book for fans of the series and others too. I heartily recommend it

I agree with you 100% This has been one of my favorite shows since it first aired. It's probably my fault, everytime I get so involved with a show, it gets cancelled.
