Camila Alves, host of Bravo's 'Shear Genius,' paid her dues after coming to America from Brazil by working as both a house cleaner and waitress in order to make ends meet. Of these two jobs, Alves is proudest of her stint as a waitress in a New York restaurant, where she served food with distinction, she said on 'The Rachael Ray Show' (weekdays, syndicated). "I tried as hard as I could, and the first three months I was employee of the month every month," Alves said, adding that she mastered the art of balancing a whopping four plates at once.
