Swimming Lesson Gets Dramatic on 'Parenthood' (VIDEO)

Note to parents: Before you ask your kid to push off and swim several feet to you, you should probably have a back-up plan. As in, someone right next to the kid in case they start to panic and go under.

That was the lesson learned on 'Parenthood' (Tue., 10PM ET on NBC), but even worse was the fact that several other parents and kids were looking on. Like those kids are really going to want to take that leap of faith now.
