Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who will be co-hosting with Kurt Browning a new ABC ice skating competition series, 'Thin Ice,' on Friday nights, decided she needed to get some skating lessons from skating star Kristi Yamaguchi. So she devoted a segment on Friday's 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated) to finding out what it takes to be a professional ice skater.

Though a little nervous, Hasselbeck did a fairly decent job; she may have slipped and slid but she never really plopped down hard or landed on her butt. She sure gave it her best shot ... and she had fun. What do you think?
