Lynda Carter Wants Sandra Bullock to Don Wonder Woman's Tights

by Danny Gallagher, posted Mar 26th 2010 6:04PM
Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman...and so do I, except I'm pretty sure Mrs. Carter is referring to a new incarnation of her famous TV show.

TV's original red, white and blue-clad beauty told a morning talk show in Los Angeles that she wants Mrs. Bullock to play the title role in a big screen remake of 'Wonder Woman,' the TV show that made her famous.

Carter said she believes Bullock is perfect for the role because she has "exactly the kind of personality" and that she's also "strong and feminine. And Wonder Woman has to be accessible". She also dismissed rumors that claimed she said Bullock was too old for the role.

Me? If she gets the role, I just want to see her kick the ever-living snot out of some Jesse James bad-guy look-a-like. Jesse James is such a dead man now.

Emily Deschanel's character donned the Wonder Woman suit for a Bones' Halloween party to great effect. She would be perfect!

Well she's an actress, and according to my dictionary, an actress plays the role of a character. Did I get that right? Good, personally I think she would do a great job, might be a nice little earner and a chance to do something light hearted after Blind Side. Oh and as for that comment above about no tits? You've obviously got a tit obsession! The original Wonderwoman was about the same age and in this youth obsessed culture we need forty something actors/actresses, let's face it todays 18 year olds are tomorrows forty somethings.
But we'll see what happens, either way it'd be an interesting version of an old classic.

Sorry, but Sandra is too old. Like Joss, I think Cobie Smulders would be fantastic.

Yummy idea on paper. Either be a winner or a Speed 2.
She has a way of picking some really lame projects along with a few strong one. This would play to her mid level charms as an actress. She's not show any Streep like chops so might as well stick with the goofy stuff.
All About Steve & The Lake House. Hello?
Upcoming Jingle and Kiss & Tango plus something The Sprinkler Queen. Goodbye?

Sandra will probably feel the need to get back to work after this ever-expanding nightmare she's been going thru.

Actually she's Ms. Bullock. She's not married to a Mr. Bullock.

last time there was talk about a Wonder Woman movie for the theatres the 2 names bandied about for the role were Chyna (wrestler) and Lucy Lawless (Xena) must have been the black hair on both women.
