At last, Sheldon Cooper is getting a girlfriend, and she's a very familiar face to TV fans.

'Blossom' star Mayim Bialik has signed on for a recurring role on CBS' 'The Big Bang Theory,' in which she'll play a potential love interest for the socially backward, but adorkable Sheldon (Emmy nominee Jim Parsons).

Bialik's character, Victoria, will be introduced in the May 24 finale of 'Big Bang.' The 'Blossom' star's appearance means it's going to be a busy month for Sheldon, as 'Archer' star Judy Greer is also guest starring on 'Big Bang Theory' as a famous scientist Sheldon invites to spend the night at his apartment.

The 'Big Bang Theory' role is yet another addition to Bialik's recent streak of recurring TV gigs, which already includes 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' (in which she plays Marty Funkhouser's daughter Jodi), 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' (as guidance counselor Wilameena Bink) and the just-canceled ''Til Death' (in which she plays a fictional version of herself, a psychiatrist named Dr. Bialik).

She's also made guest appearances on 'Saving Grace,' 'What Not to Wear' and 'Bones,' and she stars in the upcoming big-screen flick 'The Chicago 8.'
