New TV on DVD Releases This Week

Sports NightHere are the new TV DVDs, in stores tomorrow.

Not sure why the first season of 'Sports Night' is being released again. Actually, the series has been released as "Complete Series" packages twice now (there were only two seasons), and the 10th Anniversary edition is still available so I'm not sure what 'Sports Night' fan would spend money on the first season alone. It doesn't look like there's anything on it that you can't get on the other set.

Sports Night!!!!

It's about time. I actually caught an old episode a few weeks ago and was shocked by how everything held up really, really well except for one thing. The laugh tracks brought it dangerously close to being unwatchable. I would find myself enjoying the dialogue and then a chorus of 50 forced laughs ripped me out of the moment. Also, what ever happened to the guy who played Dan? I thought he would be the break out star, but I saw him in SWAT and then never again.
