Julianne Moore's 'As the World Turns' Cameo Set For April 5

According to EW.com -- which has a sneak peek of her cameo -- Moore's character will greet her parents and wish them well and, well, that's about it.

Moore originally appeared on 'As the World Turns' in 1985, playing the dual role of half-sisters Frannie and Sabrina Hughes. The actress won a Daytime Emmy for the role(s) in 1988. She's one of many to have played dual roles on soaps. The CBS soap will end in September after 54 years on the air.

Moore has received Academy Award nominations for her work in the films 'Boogie Nights,' 'The End of the Affair,' 'The Hours' and 'Far From Heaven.' She has recently been making recurring appearances on NBC's '30 Rock.'
