As one of Hollywood's leading men, Matt Damon has become the definition of an international jet setter, traveling everywhere from France, to Tokyo to South Africa in the course of his work. Now he's about to land at his most prestigious destination yet: 30 Rockefeller Plaza.Yes, that's right: According to Entertainment Weekly, Damon will be appearing on NBC's flagship comedy, '30 Rock.' Though details are still sketchy, it seems he will be appearing at the end of the season and, given his busy filming schedule, it's likely his role will be one and done rather than an ongoing part.

Damon is the latest in a long line of high-profile celebrities to guest star on the show, which most famously landed Oprah Winfrey in 2008. Steve Martin, Conan O'Brien, Jennifer Aniston, Salma Hayek, Carrie Fisher, Isabella Rossellini and Jon Hamm are just some of the other big names who have helped make '30 Rock' one of the most buzzed about, if not highest-rated, shows on television.
This isn't Damon's first foray into comedy, of course. The actor, who spawned a viral sensation thanks to his enthusiastic duet with Sarah Silverman for 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' received a Golden Globe nomination for his turn in last year's humorous look at the spy business, 'The Informant!' But for Damon, the opportunity to work with '30 Rock' mastermind Tina Fey is in a whole different league.
"I would do ['30 Rock'] in a heartbeat if they asked me to come on," Damon told Entertainment Weekly back in December. "I have not been approached about doing it. She should call my people - or even better me. Or I could call her. Let's make this happen. Tina is a brilliant comedy writer. My wife and I download that show in bulk. That's actually one of the downsides to working so much this year; I have fallen behind on this season. But we love that show, so if she has a part for me, I'm game."
Just how game is something all of America is looking forward to find out.
