To really celebrate April Fool's Day, you gotta step it up, take practical jokes to the next level. That's the opinion of actor/comedian Ricky Gervais, who visited 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' (weeknights, 12:35AM ET on NBC) on April 1.

"If you're gonna do it, do it with a bit of jeopardy," says Ricky. "Let's have pilots going, 'Oh my god, we're going down! No, April Fool's, we're fine.'"

But then he admits practical jokes get more evil in adulthood and suddenly he casts a wary eye over the studio audience. "I'm nervous," Ricky says. Is Jimmy about to pull a prank on him?
