'Jersey Shore' Looks for Miami Flavor

Just when you thought 'Jersey Shore' couldn't possibly get any better... it does.

Yes, according to the Hollywood Reporter, 'Jersey Shore' is in the process of beefing up its second season by adding new blood to the mix. So move over, Snookie, and step aside, The Situation, because MTV has issued an open casting call for Miami's finest.

"Killer shades, awesome hair, bandanas and bling can mean only one thing," the casting notice states in part. "So if you're a tanned and toned fist pumper, and you love the shore, we want to hear from you! Do you dominate the gym, tear up the dance floor and rule the bedroom? 'Jersey Shore,' you may recall, generated national headlines last year with its portrayal of self-proclaimed "guidos and guidettes" living it up on the Jersey coast. Of course, most of the cast wasn't actually from New Jersey, nor were they all Italian-American either, but regardless, the show proved to be a big enough hit to warrant a second go-around.

Personally, we hope that MTV decides to make this second season as authentic as possible by bringing in some of southern Florida's most populous demographic: the retired elderly. But if that's not possible, we'd settle for some Latin flavor, por favor.

Whatever the case, the second season of 'Jersey Shore' is tentatively scheduled to air sometime this summer. We can't wait.
