Rielle Hunter to Talk About "Johnny" Edwards on Oprah

Rielle HunterLike so many other mistresses before her, Rielle Hunter will be appearing on a daytime talk show to discuss her side of the affair with former vice presidential candidate John Edwards. Wisely, Hunter decided to appear on the talk show of the Queen Mother of all the other talk shows: Oprah Winfrey.

Hunter has already had an interview with GQ Magazine that included some questionable photos that supposedly "had her in tears." Oprah managed to get the sought-after interview over other talk show hosts as Diane Sawyer and Barbara Walters. It is said that John Edwards encouraged her to go on Oprah's show (but that's from the National Enquirer, so treat it with the journalistic respect it deserves).

The saga of a mistress in politics is old as the hills. Ask people like Gary Hart and Bill Clinton about the subject (all the aforementioned are Democrats, but a list of Republican affairs could be named just as easily). As Oprah continues to nab high-profile interviews like this one, daytime syndicated television is seeing just how tough things are going to be without her.

The GQ interview was quite good.

And why would she be in tears over the photos? She posed for them.

They broke this story before anyone. Now to be fair the aliens abduction stories stretch credibility but they did get this story right before anyone else.

I don't know why people keep getting the "other" grocery store rags mixed up the Inquirer. Just look at the headlines and you will see such weird headlines as noted above, about aliens, but really, the Inquirer usually has scandalous stories but not tall tales. I've not seen an alien story in their publication in many years, if ever.

As far as I'm concerned, the National Inquirer is fearless and is not so wimpy as the lamestream media.

The National Enquirer was the ONLY journalistic entity to cover this. Every other publication and news network took John Edward's bribes. They're the only ones with credibility on this story.

Um, no offense but the view that the Enquirer is full of lies is a little outdated. In fact, I think they might have been the ones to break this story. They're usually ahead of these stories but rarely get the credit in the end. They had a lot of stuff about Tiger right before that whole scandal hit.
