Watch Tim's performance after the jump. After having spent the past two weeks in the bottom two on 'American Idol,' and earning himself the dubious distinction as the longest-running Vote for the Worst pick over Sanjaya Malakar, Tim Urban sang 'All My Loving' and earned rare praise from the judges.
Simon Cowell, who's never been shy of panning Urban's performances, credited the singer for delivering a no-frills version of the song that somehow managed to sound contemporary. "I thought you did really well tonight with that song. I really do. What I liked about it was is that there were no gimmicks," Cowell said. "It was just the right thing to do, you and the guitar. You didn't try to over sing it. It really suited your voice."
