Tracy Morgan stopped by 'Oprah Winfrey' (weekdays, syndicated) and discussed Tina Fey's role in shaping his career. When Oprah Winfrey asked the funnyman how he'd describe Fey's influence, Morgan appeared to get choked up.

"She's my friend, Tina's my friend," Morgan said. "I love her ... she understood I knew who I was ... she understood I was making choices."

Morgan said Fey not only wrote him parts, but encouraged him to develop his persona. But, just how did Fey come to understand Morgan? Well, according to him, it's because she partied with him.
