BET Commits to 'Let's Stay Together'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the network has greenlit a new comedy pilot, 'Let's Stay Together,' that's already being touted as an "urban 'Mad About You.'"

BET programmers are betting that 'Together,' which is penned by 'Martin' scribe Jacque Edmonds Cofer, will have a suitable bedfellow in its resuscitated version of 'The Game,' the 'Girlfriends' spin-off that was canceled by the CW last year. (More on that here.)

Who's thinking that 'Let's Stay Together' will use the Tina Turner hit of the same name for its theme song? Guess we'll have to wait and see ...
