Dog Chews on Harry Smith's Microphone on 'The Early Show' (VIDEO)

W.C. Fields once famously warned against working with children or animals. Failing to heed this advice, Harry Smith found his microphone in the mouth of an excitable Golden Retriever named Wally on 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS). Maggie Rodriguez relieves Smith of his microphone after the dog spends several minutes gnawing on it. Then, Smith asks weatherman Dave Price, "Did you teach him out to do that?"
"Yes, I did," Price replied. Bad, Dave! Bad!
