Fox is giving more of its shows something to sing about -- literally.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the network is planning a full week of music-themed episodes on shows ranging from 'Bones' to 'The Simpsons.' The event kicks off on Thu., Apr. 29, and runs through Wed., May 5.

Others shows expected to take part in the event include 'Fringe,' 'House' and 'Family Guy,' which will incorporate musical numbers into its 150th episode, airing Sun., May 2.

'Glee,' meanwhile, returns to Fox next Tue., Apr. 13 at 9:28PM ET . (No, that's not a typo.)

"We really joked about it a lot," said co-star Jasika Nicole, "and I didn't think it was really going to happen! ... It'd be me, Josh and John in the lab with the cow and we were like, 'This scene is ripe for musical theater if we were all dancing on the side with cowbells and stuff.'"

"The way we've set it up ... is that Walter is actually telling Ella a bedtime story," said Lance Reddick of the episode, which also includes music by the Observers.

"I sing," he added. "All of us sing ...I actually play a hard-boiled police detective ... My singing comes about because we have to be at a piano bar that's a crime scene and I happen to be sitting at the ... piano, playing and singing."
