The latest episode of the crime drama delves into the romantic back-story between Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and her partner, Seely Booth (David Boreanaz). The pair have had a "will they or won't they" type of romance going on for some time now, and at last, we get a little background on their relationship.

In the flashback, we see Bones and Booth on a date, and the two of them totally make out! For real! They're about to go home together... and then Bones walks away from Booth, saying that he's had too much to drink. "You're afraid that when I look at you in the morning I'll have regrets?" says Booth. "That would never happen," she shoots back. Zing!

And then Booth is abandoned by her, and gets completely drenched in rain. Sometimes, love is hard.
