Chris Gethard Replaces Jon Heder on 'Big Lake'

So when Heder announced last month that he would be leaving the show due to creative differences, the question on everyone's lips was, what big name would the network tap to replace him?

But while Gethard may not have the name recognition that Heder brought to the project, he does boast a comedy resume even Napoleon Dynamite would be envious of. Besides being a member of Manhattan's influential comedy troupe Upright Citizen's Brigade, Gethard has also written for The Onion and 'Saturday Night Live' and penned the popular alternative travel guide 'Weird NY.'

And Gethard will have plenty of talent to back him up; in addition to the off-camera support of Ferrell, Gethard will be joined on screen by 'SNL' alums Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz.
