What to Watch: April 9

by Kim Potts, posted Apr 9th 2010 6:00AM
'Friday Night Alright: Adam Lambert Unplugged' (11PM, VH1)
His ability to wow us with his live performances is what landed Adam Lambert in the 'American Idol' season eight finale, and this 'Unplugged' set finds the singer at his best, even when he's rocking out acoustically. His current single, 'Whataya Want from Me,' is his biggest hit so far, and it's also the concert's best number. Other tunes from his debut CD, 'For Your Entertainment,' that pop up in the half-hour show: 'Down the Rabbit Hole,' 'Broken Open' (a song Lambert co-wrote) and 'Music Again.' He also performs a song that 'Idol' fans will remember well, since it's the song that sealed him as a season 8 front-runner: Tears for Fears' 'Mad World.''Friday Night Alright: Adam Lambert Unplugged' (11PM, VH1)
