Not content with wreaking havoc on the big screen, Michael Bay is making a foray into television with a reality TV adventure series called 'One Way Out.'

The director of 'The Rock,' 'Armageddon' and three 'Transformer' movies (No. 3 is in pre-production and is due out next year) is teaming with 'Top Chef' producers Magical Elves to create a series that co-producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz say will take the reality adventure genre to the next level. Not content with wreaking havoc on the big screen, Michael Bay is making a foray into television with a reality TV adventure series called 'One Way Out.'

There won't be any food fight on this show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, contestants in the series will be pitted against each other in extreme competitions in hostile new environments. Bay promises "a game with no rules" that "remains true to the filmmaker's signature style."

"For my first television project I wanted to do something that had never been done before, and I believe that 'One Way Out' accomplishes that," Bay said. "Combining unique twists, death-defying challenges, and stunning visuals, we are reinventing the genre, showing just how far people will go when they are stripped of their bare necessities and forced to do whatever it takes to survive."

Will Bay take the reality genre one notch past such stalwarts as 'Survivor' and 'Amazing Race'? Can we look forward to 'The Most Dangerous Game' meets 'Lord of the Flies'? Are we turning into the Romans? What do you think?
