'Supernatural' Scares Up a Spin-Off Webseries (VIDEO)

Avid 'Supernatural' fans are certain to remember the names Ed (A.J. Buckley) and Harry (Travis Wester), a very different demon-hunting dynamic duo than the hunky pair of Winchesters we've come to know and love, and founders of the ill-advised paranormal investigation team, the Ghostfacers.

From as far back as season 1, Ed and Harry have brought their own brand of bumbling, semi-suicidal "ghost facing" to our screens as part of the 'Supernatural' universe, but on April 15, coinciding with the series' landmark 100th episode, the Ghostfacers will launch their very own Webseries on CWTV.com.

Lucky 'Super' fans who attended Creation Entertainment's recent "Salute to Supernatural" convention in Los Angeles already got a sneak peek at the spooktastic (and undeniably hilarious) Webseries, but now, thanks to the magic of the Internet, you can see it too. According to a CW press release, the first two episodes will launch on April 15, followed by two additional episodes each Thursday for the next four weeks, for a total of 10 episodes. Each episode is about three to four minutes in length -- short and sweet, but judging from the previews we've seen, you get a lot of ghostly bang for your buck.

In addition to Buckley (currently starring on 'CSI: NY') and Wester ('Eurotrip'), the series features fellow CW cohort Austin Basis ('Life Unexpected') and Brittany Ishibashi, with guest spots from Mircea Monroe and 'Nip/Tuck' fave Kelly Carlson, with guest spots from other 'Supernatural' alums potentially on the horizon -- we overheard Buckley already wooing 'Supernatural' mainstay Jim Beaver at the 'Ghostfacers' launch party Wednesday night.

Are you excited for the 'Ghostfacers' Webisodes? Don't forget to log on and tune in tomorrow before 'Supernatural' airs to catch the series debut!
