(S14E06) It's a house divided on 'America's Next Top Model.' On one side are all the girls who speak their mind, on the other are the white girls who choose to talk smack in confessionals. Somewhere in the middle, Alexandra is in the kitchen convinced she's amazing. Did Alexandra even show up on this episode?

Angelea was hell-bent on getting a good photo in this episode that didn't scream tranny, and she surprised me. Luckily, to keep the balance, she brought a lot of drama to the episode. When Tyra cast her, she knew what she was doing. Her photos still aren't as strong as Jessica or Reina, but she's improving week after week, while also stirring the pot.

Ann Shoket of Seventeen tried to teach the girls how to accentuate their body shapes. There were different compliments for having long legs or being athletically shaped. To teach the girls, they raid the Seventeen Closet and Brenda wonders where her waist is. How exactly does one lose their waist? Later on the girls try their best to impress Tinsley Mortimer at a launch party. Alasia could have benefited from alcohol, but since she was underage, she sipped her soda and nervously talked to the two Jays. Jessica managed to win a photoshoot for Seventeen.

The big battle between Alasia/Angelea/Krista/Anslee and Reina/Jessica/Brenda finally came together. According to the voiceover, Anslee was with the direct but loud girls, but she never was even seen outside of the challenges this week. Most of the fighting came from Brenda questioning Angelea's educational level and Alasia eavesdropping on Reina's confessional. While I understand that the show loves drama, these girls have to learn about respecting personal space.

I'm really happy for this week's photoshoot. The girls had to portray a different New York woman on the subway for CoverGirl. While most of the photos were strong, I had a big problem with two photos. Alasia's photo did not portray a model in any form. Alasia looked like she emerged from a JC Penny or Target advertisement. Alexandra's photo looked really odd. Her eyes needed photoshop because they looked oddly crossed.

With Ann Shoket at judging, the girls show promise. Angelea finally breaks past the tranny look and comes off soft. Jessica looked like the dazed drunk friend and acted like it in front of the judges. Tyra announced that Angelea was the best photo of the week. She was followed by Krista, Reina, Alexandra, Anslee, and Jessica. The bottom two were Brenda (no fire) and Alasia (no movement/thought). Alasia manages to squeak by and she fist-pumps in victory. Brenda is eliminated and her final montage was boring.

Brenda deserved to be cut a few weeks ago, but Tyra wanted to mess with her hair first before she went. How did you find the elimination? Leave comments below.
