The daytime stars won't be performing (which in the case of Eakes and DePaiva is kinda like inviting the Pope to your local church and not asking him to say mass -- but we digress). The stars will be on hand to introduce musical acts including Keith Urban, Sugarland, Reba, Toby Keith and more. The soap stars will also be signing autographs and answering burning questions from fans.

Will this be your first trip Stagecoach?
Thompson:
No. We were there last year. This year there's going to be about 15 of us from 'GH,' 'OLTL' and 'AMC.' We'll be out there the last weekend of April, signing autographs, meeting and greeting fans and enjoying the music.

Will you be performing?
Thompson: Not necessarily. But we get to introduce the musical acts. Last year, I got to introduce Reba McEntire. I'm not sure who this year either one of us will get to introduce. That's about all the 'performing' out there that we do.

Reba's a big daytime fan. She hosted 'A Daytime To Remember,' a half-hour clip show that aired on ABC after 'The City' went off the air and before 'Port Charles' began.
Thompson: I had no idea.
Barash: Neither did I. [Smiling] I'll add that to the "things I learned today" list.

Olivia and Johnny General HospitalWhat's going on with Johnny and Olivia? They seem to be on the same page, but there's the threat of the mob hanging over their heads.
Barash: They've had a lot of dark clouds looming over them. It always seems to get interesting. First, there was the Johnny/Olivia/Sonny love triangle. Now, there's the added factor of [Olivia and Sonny's] son Dante. Johnny and Dante don't see eye-to-eye on a lot of things. Both guys want to take Sonny down, but from different sides of the law. We'll see how that affects their relationship.

If Olivia and Johnny got married -- and Dante and Lulu did, too -- Johnny would be the stepfather-in-law of his ex-girlfriend.
Barash: That would be funny. I'm sure stranger things have happened [on daytime].

Lisa LoCicero somehow pulls off playing Dante's mother, even though she's far too young-looking.
Barash: And far too young! I think there's only [8 years] between them in real life. Only in daytime!

Patrick and his wife Robin also are at odds over Sonny. Robin believes that two wrongs and a donated hospital wing make a right. Are they ever going to agree on the misunderstood mobster?
Thompson: I don't know. Patrick has said that he used to really like Sonny. But enough is enough in Patrick's eyes. Sonny shot Dante when he knew he was a cop. There's too much violence as far as Patrick's concerned. I don't know if they'll find a middle ground, but Patrick's putting up a fight and is trying to pull Robin back from her relationship [with Sonny]. Patrick has a daughter now and there are bullets whizzing by. Patrick's using the family card. I hope they find a balance.

Patrick and Robin General HospitalPatrick and Robin, like many soap couples, face problems: there's her HIV status and the attractive Dr. Lisa Niles, the woman from Patrick's past, but it sounds like Sonny is the biggest obstacle.
Thompson: As of now they're not seeing eye-to-eye on the Sonny thing. Robin's support of Sonny is going to crack the door open on their marriage. Who knows what's going to happen after that? But it could result in them growing apart. There's temptation, too. He's changed his womanizing way, but who knows how far?

Could there be wedding bells for Johnny and Olivia?
Barash:
That's a good question. I've actually gotten that so many times over the course of the last few months. I don't know if it's going to happen. It'd definitely be an interesting turn. It's not too often that people are happy in Port Charles. It'd be a red herring that people wouldn't see coming, but I wouldn't fight it.
