Oprah Winfrey's opening question to Nadya Suleman on Tuesday's 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' (weekdays, syndicated) set the stage for the mother of 14 to explain the emotional needs that forced her to give birth to octuplets, and to talk about the "tremendous amount of guilt" she has for having so many kids.
"Reflecting back," she said, "I think I was so caught up in my own childish desires to compensate ... I've always coveted that attachment to another being ... the connection felt safer with children rather than a significant other." "I live every single day with a tremendous amount of guilt," she added, saying she feels especially guilty when she holds one or another and she can't be there for the others.
Which begs the question, "You didn't think six was enough?"
