According to the Live Feed, HBO has given a season 2 order to the half-hour freshman comedy 'How to Make It in America,' with all-new episodes set to air sometime next summer.

The news, while not altogether shocking, comes as a bit of a surprise, considering the series, which premiered in February, underwhelmed in the ratings; season 1 reportedly averaged under one million viewers total. 'America,' starring Bryan Greenberg and Victor Rasuk, follows the ins and outs of two friends living in New York City.

Meanwhile, HBO has also renewed the Emmy-winning comedy series 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' for an eight season. (More on that here.)

I completely enjoyed the show and will watch if nothing else for a taste of life in NYC. Of course there was other factors that made the show likable. Like a great cast, good writing, and for me the plot of working hard and hustling hard to reach your dreams. Oh and Lake Bell. It would be nice to not have to wait for next summer though.
