"You have the energy to be out there mixin' it up with the kids?" asked Letterman. "Last time I tried to play ball with one of my sons he almost killed me," replied Murphy. "Ever get so tired that you taste liver in your mouth?"

Then when Murphy offered up a bit too much information on his fertility, Letterman meekly responded that he has only "the one child."
