'Rock of Love' Star Bret Michaels in Critical Condition

Bret Michaels'Rock of Love' and 'Celebrity Apprentice' star Bret Michaels is reportedly in critical condition after suffering a "massive subarachnoid hemorrhage," PEOPLE is reporting.

"After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation," a source said.

The news comes only a few days after Michaels, 47, had an emergency appendectomy in San Antonio, Texas. Michaels is also a type-1 diabetic, though no word on whether his brain hemorrhage was related to his diabetes or appendectomy.

Bret seems like a down-to Earth guy and my heart goes out to his family,especially his daughters. I am saying a prayer he makes it and has a speedy recovery to recover all his functions he's having difficulty with. If everyone says a prayer,maybe it will help. Thank You!

Wow, I had just read the nice article about him being an underdog on Celebrity Apprentice, and had actually planned on watching it because of him. Seems like a good guy for sure.

I hope he gets a full recovery.

that's a little mean, don't you think? It's not as if he planned this for ratings.. the guy is in critical condition. I'm sure no compassionate person is thinking about the ratings right now.
