Shawn got distracted -- by a woman, of course. He helped carry her groceries home, saying "I got nothin' else to do."

After Perry's dentist appointment, he was all doped up, woozy and delirious like the "David After Dentist" Youtube clip that made the rounds last year. At least that kid got a ride home.
