It's been widely reported that TV actors Rob Lowe and Adam Scott will soon be joining the cast of NBC's Thursday-night comedy 'Parks and Recreation.' But until today, nobody quite knew what their characters would be doing in Pawnee.Well, wonder no more: According to the LA Times, their characters, state auditors, are going to slash the budget of the Pawnee, Indiana, parks and rec offices.
NBC posted interviews with Lowe, Scott and star Amy Poehler, which you can watch below for more scoop:
It's interesting how far 'Parks and Recreation' has come, isn't it? When the show started it wasn't particularly funny and seemed like a pale imitation of 'The Office.' But now, it has really found its groove, and the addition of Lowe and Scott really makes the show even meatier. I don't know if the show is "better" than 'The Office,' but it is certainly more consistent these days.
Lowe and Scott will debut on the show in May.
