Bridges enjoyed early success as a child star on 'Diff'rent Strokes,' but then suffered a fall from grace. He became addicted to drugs and was charged with attempted murder. Now, for the first time, Bridges reveals details about being molested when he an 11-year-old child.

Bridges tell Oprah Winfrey that he was repeatedly sexually assaulted by a family friend. With absolute honesty, he describes the horrifying molestation in painful detail. Bridges says that he told his father about being assaulted, but was called a liar by his dad. "That really destroyed me," he says, "because my father was supposed to be my protector. He didn't protect me." At this point, Bridges breaks down in tears.

Though Bridges is perhaps best remembered for his drug addiction and his run-ins with the law, he has been clean and sober for seventeen years now. He gave thanks to his mother -- who was in the audience -- for helping him straighten out his life.
