Kids Reenact 'The Hills' (VIDEO)

Kristin CavallariKids say the darndest things. So do the stars of 'The Hills.' So it was only a matter of time before someone but the two together. Luckily for us, LandlineTV took the task upon itself and parodied the reality-show characters of the MTV series, turning their weekly dramatic saga into child's play.

And this satire enacts the reality show faithfully, only with better skin: There are descriptive ID tags for places (Betel, Los Angeles) and names ("Audrina: Can't Make Eye Contact," "Heidi: No one's friend. Face changes daily" and "Spencer: Heidi's husband. Manipulates her"). Heidi goes from looking like a normal kid to wearing a plasticine mask to full-on Barbie doll. Audrina can't seem to get her eyes off the ceiling. The stilted dialogue also isn't that far off from the show's script, either:



My favorite part was Lauren's short but telling visit to Brody's birthday party ("I missed you guys so much. ... I hate you guys so much"). Though witnessing the words coming out of the mouths of babes shows that babyspeak might not be that far off from what the 'Hills'-sters would say anyway.

I think thats the point idiot. having kids re enacting the scenes shows how ridiculous and childish the actual show really is. it is a sarcastic jab at the idiocy that people watch every day, sucking up thier lives in a mindless obssession with sh**** tv shows instead of reading a f****** book or getting out of the house and putting the potatoe chip bag down. the kids in the little skit are having fun. and they are being kids. dress up make believe. its actually a situation that allows them to play like they normally would the only difference is they are doing it on camera. my two little boys do the same thing. a five year old and three year old entertain me all day taking their toy cars and reenacting "Cars" or "Finding Nemo" quit taking yourself so seriously and just laugh already because it really is hilarious to see those crapshoot shows for what they really are. Out of the mouth of babes no less.

SICK SICK SICK whom ever thought this up . should be shot. let kid be kids for crying out loud. and only morons and brain dead people would find this amusing and laugh.

I agree, Jon. Besides, the Hills is a thing of the past. I find it funny that when Lauren left the show Heidi said "We don't need her, we'll be even bigger without her." And then Kirstin joined the show after putting her foot in her mouth by stating that she would never do a reality show after Laguna Hills. She was going to be a real star! Now they're on their last season. Hopefully they'll just fade away and pretty soon be gone from our memories. And Heidi did all that face work for nothing......
