Sharon Stone has joined the cast of 'Law & Order: SVU' (Wed., 10PM ET on NBC). She'll be doing a four-episode arc as a guest star. On the show, Stone plays an Assistant District Attorney who is the former partner of Detective Stabler (Christopher Meloni). To prepare for her role, Stone visited a real courtroom -- and she also accompanied female cops in crime-ridden sections of Los Angeles, in order to get a feel for what the job is really like.Watch the video after the jump.
Sharon Stone has joined the cast of 'Law & Order: SVU' (Wed., 10PM ET on NBC). She'll be doing a four-episode arc as a guest star. On the show, Stone plays an Assistant District Attorney who is the former partner of Detective Stabler (Christopher Meloni). To prepare for her role, Stone visited a real courtroom -- and she also accompanied female cops in crime-ridden sections of Los Angeles, in order to get a feel for what the job is really like.
All her research seems to have paid off. In the course of the episode, Stone receives physical abuse from a criminal, but she stays strong. Still, while watching her hang out with the police, it's hard not to think of Stone's more famous interaction with the cops -- in a little movie called 'Basic Instinct.'
