Spoilers Anonymous In-Depth: 'Lost'

This is Spoilers Anonymous In-Depth, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we discuss and give our two cents about recently-released spoilers and how they may affect the storylines, shows and fans. This in-depth version of the column goes hand in hand with our weekly spoilers column where we supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air.
This week we discuss various spoilers recently released for the final episodes of ABC's 'Lost.'
We may see Libby again.
Libby has always been a fan favorite, mostly because she was linked as a potential love interest to yet another fan favorite, Hurley. When Libby was killed off, fans flocked to bulletin boards and demanded to have the character come back to wrap things up with her backstory/flashbacks. Sadly, due to Cynthia Watros' schedule, the actress was not able to return to the Island until a few weeks ago when we finally got to see her interact with Hurley in a flash sideways.
Along with many fans, I rejoiced at Libby's return. However, I was not totally satisfied as she appeared in a flash sideways, meaning that the questions that were raised from seeing her in flashbacks and on the Island have yet to fully be answered. If Libby does come back as the spoilers say, I truly hope it's in a flashback so that we finally get the answers we've been demanding for years. If she doesn't return in a flashback, I'll only be somewhat satisfied with her return only if she and Hurley end up married and happily ever after.
In the series finale, characters in the sideways universe will realize there is another timeline with them on an Island.
This spoiler has started to happen on the show as a few characters in flash sideways felt that something was off and Desmond knows. I truly hope that the spoiler fully comes true because I don't want to have invested all this time watching the Island scenes and the flash sideways and end up having one of these timelines turn out to be a dream. I would feel cheated if both don't end up being reality but only in different times or else. No dream! How would you feel if the sideways or Island scenes turn out to be a dream? In the finale, Juliet's and Sawyer's island memories will "bleed" over into the sideways universe, they'll start to remember each other, and will kiss.
Juliet and Swayer made a rather cute couple, and I was devastated when Juliet died. It was also a touching moment a few weeks ago when we saw that Swayer had intended to propose to Juliet. Aww ... I want a happy ending for these two and, based on a good number of comments left on TV Squad, I know I'm not alone.
Based on this spoiler, Juliet and Sawyer will get their happily ever after moment. Will this spoiler confirm a fan theory that claims that when Jughead exploded, it allowed Juliet to flash sideways to see that she and Sawyer were reunited, thus prompting her to say "It worked" in the season premiere? No matter, if Juliet and Sawyer do reunite and kiss, fans will need a Kleenex box nearby as the show was rather cruel for their relationship this season and this would be a perfect ending for both.
Eight of the following 14 characters will die on the Island: Ben, Claire, Desmond, Frank, Hurley, Ilana, Jin, Miles, Richard, Sawyer, Sayid, Sun, Widmore, Zoe.
When this spoiler was released, the fandom was rocked as a good number of fan favorites are part of this list. Why must eight of them die, asked a few fans when they read the gossip. Since the list was released, Ilana was killed. I wouldn't be angry at the writers if Frank, Miles, Widmore and Zoe died as I am not too attached to them. However, the spoilers claim eight of the 14 will die so I need to pick three characters more...
Part of me wouldn't cry if Claire were to be killed off since I made my goodbyes to the character when she went boom two years ago. However, I can't wait to see her be reunited with Aaron. Sayid is as good as dead this season, so he can go boom in the night too. Once Richard is done with his Island tasks, how about having him die so he can be reunited with his wife? After all, the Island has shown us that the dead can still roam around so I want to believe that Richard and his wife can be reunited in the afterlife. No matter how we put it, some fans will definitely need to prepare and get a Kleenex box handy as a few of their favorite characters to die.
Who, why, how, when? I sense an epic battle coming on between the Jacob and MiB gangs. What is your crystal ball telling you?
