The Red Queen is a member of a shadowy group called "Checkmate" -- a organization whose goal has been to unmask superheroes. Naturally, Checkmate is fairly bad news if you are Clark Kent (Tom Welling), one of the world's greatest heroes. But the question is: who is the mysterious Red Queen?

Now, on 'Smallville' (Fri., 8PM ET on The CW), it is revealed that the Red Queen is ... Martha Kent (Annette O'Toole). Martha is the adopted mother of Clark Kent. She hasn't been on the show for three years, but the reveal was worth the wait.
