Burglary on 'House' (VIDEO)

Sometimes, an item has special sentimental value. And sometimes, an item has even more value than that. On 'House' (Mon., 8PM ET on Fox), Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) loses a valuable book, then goes to great lengths to get it back.

House's roommate Alvie (Lin-Manuel Miranda) pawns an old medical textbook. So then, House tries to recover it from the new owner. First, he offers $50 for the book and then (doing a fairly bad job of haggling) he offers $2,000 for it. Neither offer works, and House leaves in defeat. But then, Alvie just goes ahead and steals the textbook back. Who says that having an ex-mental patient as a roommate can't come in handy?

Later on, it's revealed that the surgical textbook was written by Cuddy's great-grandfather. Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) is the woman that House has secret feelings for. It turns out that he has been waiting for just the right moment to give her the book as a gift. Aw. Will House ever find the right moment?
