What if your entire world revolved around your ability to sing, and then you lost your voice? That's the problem facing one of the characters on 'Glee' (Tue., 9PM ET on Fox).[Spoiler alert.]
Rachel (Lea Michele) berates the other members of the glee club for their lack of participation in the group. To prove her point, she decides to sing 'The Climb' by Miley Cyrus. Explaining her choice of song to the club, Rachel says this: "[The song is] about overcoming obstacles and beating the odds. In my case, the obstacle is you -- my lackluster teammates who refuse to carry their own weight." Ouch!
But when she starts to sing, Rachel falters. She's come down with tonsillitis and has lost her voice. Faced with the possibility of never being able to sing perfectly again, Rachel's whole life is thrown into chaos. Will she and the group be able to recover?
