Michael Lynche was kicked off 'American Idol,' leaving Crystal Bowersox, Casey James and Lee DeWyze to fight it out in the Top 3.

Viewers will recall Lynche's dramatic save five weeks ago that spared him from elimination, but there was no reprieve from the judges tonight as "Big Mike" was sent home over Crystal Bowersox.

After being cut, Lynche said, "You know, it's been unbelievable, man ... I just sit here right now and I think I wasn't even supposed to be here, you know? And, thank God for the judges' save ... and, you know, I got to spend more time here."
