EXCLUSIVE: An Audience with the 'Ghostfacers' (VIDEO)

by Laura Prudom, posted May 14th 2010 1:00PM
Thursday, May 13 was a big night for 'Supernatural' fans -- not only was yesterday's episode the season finale, it also marked the culmination of five years' worth of spooky storylines as heaven and hell literally went head-to-head for a battle of Biblical proportions.

We're not ashamed to admit to shedding more than a few tears over last night's dramatic season closer, but even more stressful than watching the Winchesters go head to head is the prospect of a whole summer without their presence on our screens every week.

If the looming hiatus is already looking like hell, allow TV Squad to offer you a little levity before the 'Supernatural' withdrawal hits ...Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) aren't the only dashing, demon-hunting duo currently out there helping the helpless and fighting the good fight; when the end of the world is nigh, many unsung heroes fall by the wayside. Maybe they just don't have the chiseled chests and smoldering stares of the Winchester brothers, or maybe Sam and Dean are just attention hogs, who can say?

TV Squad recently sat down with two guys who have a very strong opinion on the Winchesters. In fact, Ed and Harry, stars of the hilarious and spine-tingling web series 'Ghostfacers,' have very strong opinions on a lot of things, from the coming apocalypse to the virtues of driving a creepy white van.

Join us, if you dare, for an uncensored peek into the minds of two bonafide ghost-hunting experts ... (Video contains strong language and content that is not suitable for minors.)

(Apologies for the camerawork - not all of us are as handy with a hand-held as Spruce.)

If you haven't already, check out the final two episodes of 'Ghostfacers' or or catch up with the entire series at CWTV.com. And don't forget to give us your thoughts on the dramatic 'Supernatural' season finale in the comments below!

If the series had ended on this episode I would have been satisfied. Not happy...I mean how could I have been happy with Sam trapped in a pit as Lucifer's vessel? But satisfied in a way that other monumental series enders have not managed (ie. MASH, Seinfeld, Friends, X-Files, etc...) Eric Kripkre is accomplishing his swan's song in a touching and unforgetable way and it really makes me worry about how this series will end in the future. While I am soooooo happy there will be a season 6, I can't help but wonder how will they ever be able to come up with a series ender that will be as touching and enduring as this episode? Loved it and want to bear Jensen Ackles children even more.

Hey Jason,

I'll totally be campaigning for that gig when season 6 starts - the show keeps going from strength to strength! Last night's Impala scenes were truly beautiful television, and it was definitely great to hear some of the classic rock that's been sadly absent from much of the season make a return with Rock of Ages. Fingers crossed for a bigger music budget in season 6!

We clearly need to get a campaign going for Jared and Jensen as Harry and Ed.
