Ellen DeGeneres has been on TV so long that it's easy to forget that she started out as a stand-up comedian, meaning she knows how to build up to a joke.

On Friday's edition of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated), she used that talent to build-up to guest Teri Hatcher getting scared by the show's resident giant bee. She seemingly engaged Hatcher in a conversation about the appearance of bees on this season of 'Desperate Housewives' then, wham, Hatcher got buzzed. What worried Hatcher, however, was whether or not she revealed her crotch to the audience when she jumped in fright.
