TNT is giving Mark-Paul Gosselaar another shot at his own show. According to sources for EW.com, the cable network has reportedly picked up 'Franklin and Bash,' a legal dramedy co-starring the 'Saved by the Bell' alum and 'Robot Chicken's' Breckin Meyer. The pair will play streetwise lawyers recruited by a high-powered firm.
Gosselaar previously starred in TNT's short-lived 'Raising the Bar,' another legal drama produced by Steven Bochco. According to the report, 'Franklin and Bash' will stand apart from 'Bar' and the rest of its dramatic lineup with a more comedic tone and a pilot that features ample shots of Gosselaar's naked bum. (No word yet on whether Gosselaar will be sporting his long Lorenzo Lamas-eque locks last seen in 'Bar's' first season.)
'Dirty Sexy Money's' Bill Chais and 'Journeyman' executive producer Kevin Falls are behind the show, which was originally developed by TBS, but has now been picked up by TNT.
The cable net is also expected to officially greenlight new shows starring Jason Lee and Angie Harmon at next week's upfront presentation in New York.
