Conan O'Brien to Host New Talk Show from Historic Soundstage

Conan O'BrienConan O'Brien is set to host his new late-night TBS talk show from a historic soundstage in Burbank, CA.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, O'Brien will film his show on Stage 15 at the Warner Bros. lot. Stage 15, which was used to film such classic movies as 'Golddiggers of 1935,' 'Giant,' 'Ghostbusters' and 'Oceans 12,' currently houses 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' and O'Brien's soon-to-be TBS cohort, 'George Lopez Tonight.'

Jon Gilbert, President of Studio Facilities, said Warner Bros. was "absolutely thrilled" to have Conan onboard.

The new, as yet untitled hour-long talk show debuts in November. Airing Monday through Thursday nights, it will mark Conan's return to late-night television after he was ousted in January by Jay Leno as the host of 'The Tonight Show' after only a few months in the job.

Following a very public falling out with both Leno and NBC, Conan embraced Twitter, grew a beard and embarked on a cross-country comedy tour, pointedly titled 'The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour,' which stops in Minneapolis, Minnesota, tomorrow.

im getting really sick and tired of all the conan bashers funny is entirely based on your own point of view. i caan say that adam sandler is a comical genius but that is only an opinion. jay leno is only as big as he is b/c he has been coddled for years by nbc. conan was simply a victim of the overzealous producers at nbc. nothing against either of them like they both have said its just business.

Actually, a majority of people posting on here (names I recognize) are between 25-40. Conan is 47.

Some ppl just can't accept that something they find hilarious isn't to everyone else.

All you Conan bashers are a bunch of uptight old geezers. Go change your depends undergarments maybe it'll put you in a better mood. Jay Leno is anything but funny and has no class. He's a backstabber. If Jay had any integrity he would have said no to taking Conan's new time slot. I can't wait for Conan to come back to tv in the fall! I've been watching him since 93'. Conan is hilarious! Team Coco!

Can I point out that it's not "film". Conan is not going to "film" on Stage 15 at the Warner Bros. lot. We're in the age of video now, so he may shoot or record on Stage 15. And yes - Stage 15 may have been used to "film" such classic movies as 'Golddiggers of 1935,' 'Giant,' 'Ghostbusters' and 'Oceans 12,' and other movies, on "film".

O'Brien may write funny, and look like a clown with that goofy hair(carrot-top beat him to it)but he cannot deliver. His ego is in his way. Take your money and move on before before you are reduced to paying the public to come see you.

If I had the time to WASTE tomorrow, I'd consider going to see him. But...as it stands, there are three people I wouldn't waste my time for...he is NUMBER ONE....followed by Sarah Palin....and then our own MINNESOTA DINGBAT...Michelle Bachman! It's like a Tri-Fecta of moronic stupidity!
