Last 'Survivor' Standing on 'Heroes vs Villains' Finale (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted May 17th 2010 6:01AM
Who Won 'Survivor: Heroes vs Villains'? Unlike contestants on 'The Amazing Race' or 'The Celebrity Apprentice,' finalists of 'Survivor' hear the winner announced weeks after competition has ended. And the finale of 'Survivor: Heroes vs Villains' (Sun., 8PM ET on CBS) was no different.

[Spoiler alert.]

It had been a while since Parvati, Russell and Sandra had suffered through the final challenge and last tribal council, when they appealed to ex-contestants to give them a million bucks.

So which Villain would it be: manipulative social climber Parvati, the ever devious Russell or coattail-riding Sandra? Did the jury make the right decision?

Russell outwitted, outplayed & survived over all the lame jurists whose egos were to big to admit defeat. Survivor is a game its not the game of how to win friends & influence people. Sandra sucked & did nothing to win she even admitted her strategy to get rid od Russell repeatedly failed. I am not going to watch again unless they let the audience vote which should count for 50% and the player jurors 50%.

Here is a very easy way to require the jury to actually vote with their heads and not their hearts.

Each jury member would be required to rate each finalist 1 thru 5....1 being the lowest possible score.....in each of the three catagories...Outwit....Outlast....Outplay. All that would have to be done is to define what each catagory contains as far as game play. Example Outwit would contain Strategy. Outlast would contain imminunity challanges and idol play. Outplay maybe the social game.

My scores as if I was on the jury would be

outwit outlast outplay total

Russell 5 5 2 12

Parvati 4 5 4 13 winner

Sandra 2 2 2 6

Realistically Sandra should not have won!

Once again, one of the scavengers won. Parvati actually was a gamer. She deserved to win more than the luggage did. Russell should have won this year and last, but neither was the case. The moron contestants took it personally rather than understanding it is a game. Russell knows how to play the game. Jerri should have voted for him. It would not have mattered, because the rest of them are egomanical, sore losers. Russell is the king of Survivor.

Ok first of all I would like to say that Russel is the best player ever to enter this game. He has won the American vote 2 times. Played the best strategic game possible he controlled the villains and the heroes. He also took on any one that went against him he beat BOSTON ROB!!!! HE BEAT PAVARTI's alliance with that one girl. Any one that stood in his way he destroyed them with his strategic gameplay. I think the people on survivor are freaking stupid and all they see is who made friends with all of them. They are all sour looser. I am sorry to say... And if anyone thinks other wise you don't see good strategic game play. And if some one does have something to say please do.

Hello you morons who say that Russell should not have won cause he is mean and dispicable and every other harsh name you have called him. HE WAS ON THE VILLAIN TEAM!!! DUH. I admit, I hated him last season, and even somewhat this season, but the fact remains...He IS the best player of Survivor thusfar. Yes he is a dirty player, BUT, how many other survivors can you say found so many hidden immunity idols without even a clue. How many survivors can you say pulled off as many blind sides as he did? Thats playing the game DUH. I agree with a comment earlier. Survivor needs to put the flame out on the show, it has become rediculous. Sandra didn't do ANYTHING to win at all.

Whose coattails did Sandra ride? She was the last member of her alliance and hated Russell and Parvati.

@ Karen - While I'm a huge Russell fan, I don't start hating on others who aren't.

The one thing that I AM TOTALLY SICK OF is people making comments like you "Sandra won without being mean a single time". What BS!! I didn't hear Sandra say one happy or positive thing the entire season. She talked constantly about her tribemates behind their backs, threw a personal item in the fire, I could go on and on. So while I respect your right to think that Russell should not have won; come off the high horse saying that Sandra was MISS PERFECT. And to whomever made the remark that Russell shouldn't get the money because he's already a millionaire.....well a big fat DUH!!! Sandra won her previous season, so guess what - let's do a little basic math....she came into this season a millionaire as well.

Russell is the greatest player to ever play the game. What are the odds of A person in suvivor to reach the end twice. He found all the idols in his first survivor without a clue, disasembled a team with more players in both games. This is the only game where the best player does not get rewarded Thank God the best teams play the I hope he puts together a highlight film and posts it on youtube showing he is the best player.

I actually endured an entire season of this show for the first time since it's beginning just because Russell's scheming was worth watching. Sandra was dull and endlessly whiny. But no surprise she won, can't let it seem that "evil" could win, and her family story produced a fuzzier feeling for some. But I won't watch again.

Say what you will, Russel is the greatest player of all time. The show is "Survivor" and the last player standing should be the winner, not a bunch of cry babies trying to get even with him for not taking them to the final. I have watched every Survivor show, and I really like the show. BUT when a game is decided by a bunch of losers, the best player doesn't stand a chance of winning, they want to get even, Russell has been cheated 2 times of a title and a million dollars. I find Russell entertaining, he doesn't hide his cut throat attitude and goes for the juglar, the cry babies come around whinning and begging him to take them to the final 4, they are worse than he is due to the fact they are cutting his throat behing his back. That's what I call being 2 face. It's not a game of who likes who, it's skill

Sandra Won the last time by flying under the radar. This is the way she plays (and wins) the game. Russell, on the other hand, is a coniving, hateful idiot. He has wice taken people to the final three with him who he thought were beneath him (as in reality, he thinks everyone is beneath him) who he thinks he can beat. He would not have taken Paverti with him if she had not won the last challenge, he would have taken Jerri. He is a lying, cheating, s o b and does not need the money. He is already a multi-millionare (probably from lying and cheating). I cannot believe people voted him over Rupert to win the $100,000. That is a travesty to truth and honor.
Rupert's best game was his first one. He believed Boston Rob the second time he played and got voted out by Boston Rob and believed the jackhole Russell this time and got voted out. Sandra played on no one's coat tail, unlike Paverti, who rode Russell's coat tail to the very end. What Russell does not get is that when he doublecrosses everyone on the jury, how can he expect them to vote for him. The only reaason I can see is insanity. Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
